Now before I actually explain why I decided to call this blogpost "An eerie laugh and a glaring gaze", to the movie reviews we go!
Drag me to Hell
Ratings: 5.5/10
Comments: Now is this supposed to be a horror or comedic movie? Well to me it was rather funny. It was shocking but not horrific, it was more to disgusting I guess. Parts where vomitting out maggots and worms aren't really the things that make people go "AH~" but more like "*Puke*"
The plot was predictable, the moments where the shocking parts appear were also predictable, a movie worth wasting your bored time on, downloading this movie is highly recommended.
Land of the Lost
Ratings: 7/10
Comments: Now, if you're a person who loves to watch stupid, nonsensical, idiotic kind of movies to have a good laugh, then you should go and catch this movie.
Having parts which are so idiotic you just have to laugh, movies wit Will Farell in them never fail to bring a good laugh to you. A movie worth paying for.
Now moving on to life so far. I don't know why I've been feeling lethargic and restless these few days. Work is fine so far, although i don't get much time at home, or hanging around with my friends.
Let's just cut the crap shall we? Now the reason why I called today's blog post "An eerie laugh and a glarng gaze" was because of the incident that happened last night. Yang, Sufi, and me just finished watching Land of the Lost, thus we decided to walk back home from E!Hub to Tampines. We decided to take the route from White Sands Shopping mall across the TPE to Tampines Interchange. Now somewhere in the middle is this long, narrow, shaded road after the flyover and before Sunplaza Park. We were laughing and talking until I accidentally tripped over a "Rock".
A minor thing right? Well as we walked along, I kept on having the feeing that things were not right. It did not feel like a rock. Paranoia and curiousity got the best of me. I decided to turn around and check what I kicked over.
"Hey, wait, I wanna go behind and check what I tripped over" The two decided to follow me. I turned around, they were still following me, I felt less tensed thus I carried along....
Taking out my phone and shining to the ground as I really could not see as the tall bushes were coverin out the tall lights on the street, I realised that there was nothing "trippable" for me to trip over. All were just grass. Then it came.
A cold chill down my spine, something was glaring at me from the forestation nearby. I turned around, Sufi and Yang were so far away, and by the way, they were not walking in my direction.
Something was not right, I turned around, I walked slowly. That slow walking paced as I felt that it was coming nearer. I ran. Keeping my mind of stuff, I kept thinking that I was just being paranoid.
However, Sufi and Yang were silent, they did not utter a word fo a moment. I asked them what's wrong, they told me that they would tell me when we reached MacDonalds.
When Yang and Sufi turned to follow me, both of them heard the most playful, sinister giggle from the forestation. The streets were silent, at that moment, everything was silent...except that laugh.
They turned and walked away, only to leave me stranded by myself.
I'm never.. ever going to walk by that path again.
Story's over, now let's see... oh yes! My hair is back in colour(:
This just in, My phone bill for the month...$92~~~T.T
For those of you guys out there you really thinks that waking up in the morning and you couldn't get the hair style you wanted or your hair does not seem to fall in place is a bad hair day? Think again.
Yes, life hasn't been going well, I'm still sick. T.T and now on top of being sick, it just got sicker. Let me introduce you to the MAT REP (Malay ah Beng)hair colour 2009. Ok wait, allow me to show me BEFORE
Before
After (Disaster)
Yes, this is the Mat Rep 2009. Totally weird, awkward and shocking right? haiz...
But it's alright, when all is down, I'm looking forward to Kiss and Tell this Thursday, Transformers 2 sneak preview next Friday, Tuition Pay today, Dye my hair back on Thursday, always look on the bright side of life.
Oh well, gotta get back to work now, supervisor scolded me....lol
H1N1 is all over the place now, and what a good time to have a cold than now. Yes people, the reason why I have the time to blog is because I'm having a bad fever and flu.
It all began when I had this little irritating sore throat. I thought it wasn't much of a big deal because I have been eating spicy and heaty dishes over the days, well guess what? That idiotic sore throat became a running nose wich later evolved into a flu then came the final fever.
Now being at the polyclinic with a fever is totally not a good thing. The moment you have made your way pass the thing called the "Fever-detector", they immediatedly man-handle you like a criminal and escort you to the place called the "Fever Floor", literally. Fever Floor, if one day I open up a club, I will call one of the sections Fever Floor. Where everyone just goes crazy to the best R&B club tracks. Awesome!
Anyway, yes I got an irritating doctor. Figured he is around 60? Kept on complaining about how sucky the yonger generation is, bla bla bla, da di da di da~ Now, just to obtain the thing called the MC (Medical Certificate), I just had to shut up while I endure his painstaking 10 minutes lecture on How Sucky the New Generation Singaporeans is today. Spare me your lectures, you should do something fun and adventurous since your time is running up compared to mine, although I might die tomorrow but technically, it's the doc who's gonna kick the bucket first. Sorry Doc, my bad~
I'm super lazy to upload photos into this post, shall do them next time, ciao~ *AH CHOO~ SWINE FLU~"
Hi people, I'm so so sorry I have not been updating my blog over the past week. It was supposed to be a weekly kinda thing though... apparently not. I really have no time. If only I was super.
So I'm using what precious free time I have to sacrifice and updating you about this possimpoble (Possible impossible) life of mine. Awww...
Let me get on with MOVIE RATINGS first
Movie Ratings
Night and the Museum 2
Rating: 6/10
Comments: A totally Hilarious movie. You are sure to laugh your guts out. I don't know why but I assume it's an intelligent movie because when I was watching the movie, I could not understand why some people just had this expression on their faces like "What the hell is going on??"
Rather good usage of graphics and sound and cinematography to enhance the mood of the whole plot although I find that the plot is rather cramped trying to put loads of characters into the movie. Well they do put loads of correct historical information about the characters. Which is educationally fun.
All in all, this movie is deserving enough for you to spend on watching it on the big screen(:
Angels and Demons
Rating: 6/10
Comments: Alright, I'm going to say this from a non reader's POV (Point of View). I find that the plot was rather interesting though. Very complex very sinister very gruesome but awesome! Lots of suspense and a super twist at the very end.
I can't wait to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen and Terminator Salvation.
This just in: V and A just offered me Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Tickets! woo!
Alright let's continue with my life now. The week has been rather stressfully fruitful, ironic. Work's starting to slack down now, but beginning to reap what I sown. I got to lead a discussion yesterday, my big presentation has been pushed backwards because I have not sat down with my boss to totally discuss issues pertaining to the presentation, which is good because I have more time to refine and work on it. Other than work, I spent the whole week catching up with friends and meeting new friends and going out on movies with P and J. Catching up with old friends really make you feel that life does not suck at all because you will always have them by your side. BFFs indeed! Going out with new people also expands your social network. Going on movie outings really makes you feel happy. So it's good!
Was at lunch that day and it was "Fruits Day" at the cafeteria. And I spotted my friend. Shea's name was on the box. Hmmm~~
Anyway, our dearly beloved Khai is entering the Nirvana called "Changi General Hospital" today. Although we joke about orges, terminator arms and wolverine claws, I still do pray that his operation goes successfully and no screw ups will happen.
Was watching Definitely, Maybe again for the I lost count number of times, still one of my favourite movies ever, because it kinda links to my life, feeling of attachment towards that movie.
This just in. 11.25am and I'm stucked at this meeting which id making me totally drowsy. ZzzZzzZzz...... THIS JUST IN: My slack life now is NO MORE! Now I know the true meaning of "IN A BLINK OF AN EYE" I excused myself to the washroom and when I came back, I had to edit an excel spreadsheet of about 800 rows! Can you believe that....
Ok people, now you can understand why I don't really have a life, get back to blogging in awhile....I shall save this post first, yet to find a nice song which suits the mood....
14 hours later....
Alright I'm back people! I've decided that this will be a 2 day long blog post. Once again, I'm in the office now and I just completed that shit load of work that was given yesterday, can't say what because I will violate contract rules.
Went over to visit Khai at the hospital with Adi yesterday after giving tuition to Jacob. Wishing and praying that his operation would go succuessfully.
Anyway, some weird girl, I mean totally weird girl added me up on msn like I don't know when, are starting asking me stuff like "who are you? from where? bla bla bla bla" I wasn't really paying attention. She even dropped her number in the convo. Weird. When she called me, she started swearing malay vulgarities (which is a total turn off for me) and so I really couldn't be bothered much. Then she went on like "I think I'm going to talk to the wall better." What do you want me to say? "ER~~~ OK?" Weird at it's best. Oh, for those who are using iPhones out there, please download iBlacklist. It's a good app when you face situations like these.
Will let the pictures tell more bout my day. kinda busy now....
